TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENROLMENT
Please carefully read the following terms and conditions which are to be agreed when accepting an enrolment offer. These terms and conditions supersede any previous terms and conditions which apply to the services provided by Creative Art School to you.
‘Class’ in the Terms and Conditions of Enrolment outlined below refers to any term course/class/workshop for children and adults.
Payment of Fees
- A full term’s enrolment fees must be fully paid in advance at the time of enrolment to secure a student’s place in a class.
- You can enrol in person at our office during office hours.
- Payment is to be made by online direct deposits into our nominated bank account or by cash payment. Card payment service is not available.
- Fees are inclusive of GST and tax receipts will be provided at the time of payment.
Returning Students
- To secure a place, all existing students must notify Creative Art School by the last week of the Class term whether they will be returning to Class the following term.
- All term enrolment fees must be fully paid in advance prior to the first day of class in the new art school term.
Missed Classes
- Creative Art School must be notified as soon as possible if a student will be absent to a Class.
- No refunds, transfers or credits will be provided if a student is absent to a class.
- A make-up class of equal value may be offered at Creative Art School’s absolute discretion. Creative Art School is at liberty to refuse any make up class if no appropriate class is available (subject to availability).
No Refund Policy
- Creative Art School reserves the right to amend any class, tutor or schedule. In such circumstances, we will attempt to provide you a substitute class of equal value.
- Subject to legislation, all enrolment fees for classes are non-refundable including for change of mind. Creative Art School may in its absolute discretion consider requests for refund, transfer, or credit. Substantive reasons must be provided for such requests prior to consideration.
Cancellation and Withdrawal of Enrolment
- A student may withdraw their enrolment by providing 14 days written notice to Creative Art School before commencement of the Class term.
- Creative Art School will charge a $25.00 (incl. GST) administration fee to facilitate each withdrawal of enrolment. The administration fee will be automatically deducted from the term fees paid. You acknowledge and agree this is reasonable and a genuine preestimate of Creative Art School’s loss for the enrolment expenses it has incurred.
- Any withdrawal of enrolment between 7 days to the commencement date of the Class term (inclusive) will incur a 50% term fee. The fee will be automatically deducted from the term fees paid. You acknowledge and agree this is reasonable and a genuine preestimate of Creative Art School’s loss for holding the student’s place for the full term and the enrolment expenses it has incurred.
- Any remaining balance of the term fees paid may be transferred as credit to another student or Class. The credit must be used within 6 months from the date of receipt of payment.
- Subject to legislation, no refunds will be provided (including for change of mind) for the remaining balance of any term fees paid.
- No refunds, transfers or credit will be provided for withdrawal of enrolment once the Class term has commenced subject to clause 11 above.
Art Materials
- All new students in children’s classes must purchase a Starter Kit from Creative Art School as a condition of enrolment.
- All new students in adult classes will be provided a list of art materials. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure they have all the required materials prior to commencement. Creative Art School will also be able to provide art materials for purchase.
- It is a condition of enrolment that all art materials used during each class must be purchased from Creative Art School. This is to ensure high quality standards, as well as the health and safety of all staff and students due to its eco-friendly ingredients. We will not take any responsibility for any external products causing allergies and unforeseen reactions.
- It is the student and/or your responsibility to ensure that all students have the required art materials for each class.
- In the event that a student has not brought the art material/s they require for each class or has run out of the art material/s, you consent to Creative Art School providing the art material/s to the student facilitate the running of the Class.
- If any art material/s is provided to a student during a class, you agree to make full payment for the art material/s within 7 days.
- Creative Art School may refuse to provide new art material/s if there is any outstanding balance owing.
Creative Kids Vouchers
- Creative Art School is a registered Creative Kids provider.
- It is you/the student’s responsibility to apply for a Creative Kids voucher and Creative Art School cannot assist in the application process.
- If you wish to redeem a Creative Kids voucher, it must be presented to Creative Art School at the time of enrolment and/or payment.
- Creative Art School will only accept a Creative Kids voucher subject to the requisite information and details being provided in accordance with Service NSW requirements.

Punctuality and Attendance
- All Students must be punctual to each class and collected promptly at the end of each Class.
- All primary school aged students must be escorted to and from class by a parent, guardian, or carer.
- Creative Art School strongly encourages all high school aged students be escorted to and from class by a parent, guardian, or carer.
- Creative Art School will bear no responsibility if a parent, guardian, or carer elects for their children to commute to and from class unsupervised or arranges for an alternate responsible person to escort the student.
- You acknowledge and agree that late fees of $50.00 per hour (to the nearest hour) may be charged by Creative Art School if a student is not collected promptly at the end of each class. You acknowledge and agree this is reasonable and a genuine pre-estimate of Creative Art School’s loss for supervising the student outside of class times.
Consent to Communicate
- All communications in relation to a student’s enrolment will be directed to the parent, guardian or carer as nominated on the Enrolment Form in the first instance.
- Where communication with the nominated parent, guardian or carer is not possible in accordance with clause 35, you acknowledge and consent to such communications being directed to the student or a responsible adult.
Student Conduct
- Creative Art School operates from shared premises, and it is a condition of enrolment that all students must respect fellow staff, students, artwork, and property.
- Creative Art School is an inclusive environment and discrimination on the grounds of a person’s age, race sex, gender, sexuality, marital status, physical or intellectual disability, or religion will not be tolerated.
- Students engaged in inappropriate or disruptive behaviour will be removed from class and may have their enrolment terminated.
Termination of Enrolment
- If these terms and conditions are not complied with, Creative Art School may terminate its services with you. Such breaches may include but is not limited to:
- Failure to fully pay term fees in advance prior to commencement of the class term.
- Failure to make payment of art material/s provided or other fees in arrears; or
- Misconduct by the student or any other individual including any inappropriate or disruptive behaviour.
Photography
- From time to time, Creative Art School may take photos or videos during class of students and their artworks. Creative Art School utilises these photos exclusively for its own promotional purposes such as press advertising, brochures, social media, editorials, and website.
- If you do not give permission for Creative Art School to take and use photos of a student or a student’s artwork, please notify Creative Art School in writing.
Occupational Health & Safety
- If a student has a medical condition including an allergy or disability that may affect their participation in a class, you agree to immediately notify Creative Art School at the time of enrolment, so arrangements made be made.
- All information obtained will be treated confidentially in accordance with privacy legislation.
Privacy
- Contact information you supply to Creative Art School will not be disclosed without your express consent, except where required by law.
- Creative Art School may send mail, and email to students and past students for the purpose of marketing. Should you not wish to receive mailings from Creative Art School please notify us that you wish to unsubscribe, and you will be removed from our mailing list.
